Dungeon Core PC Game 2023 Overview:
In this roguelite hierarchical shooter, you can go into the sewers and farther to track down a neglected underground examination office. Because of a defective test, destructive changes in creatures have been welcomed on by old atomic waste.
Take the role as a liquidator descending down the sewers and beyond to destroy an old abandoned nuclear core. The core is a relic from an old, failed experiment where the goal was to mutate creatures and use them as weapons. But… the mutants wouldn’t be controlled and the government abandoned the project, sealing off every entrance. They deny any involvement. However, the mutants are still down there, gradually making their way up… Unless, you can destroy the core?!
Dungeon Core is a challenging roguelite top-down shooter that has an “all-hope-is-lost”-vibe, but is it? You get a(nother) roguelike twin-stick shooter. Take your gun, aim, shoot, dash, loot. Go to the next (randomly generated) room, do the same. Until you die. Use the few coins you may keep after death to buy permaupgrades to make your future runs easier. No idea why this is so addicting, but it somehow is. The levels contain a little shop and a boss, but not much more (apart from enemies and loot).
